Emerging Young Leaders
Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) is a local initiative focused on mentoring females in middle school. EYL strives to teach students life skills, goal setting and steps to attain their goals, while also encouraging a strong focus on education.
Other Initiatives
We promote the learning process by providing substantial support to students by donating and distributing backpacks and related school supplies to students in the community. In addition, we support childhood hunger initiatives by partnering with local food banks and pantries. Prior to winter break, we provide backpacks filled with food and snacks for students in need. We also often sponsor events to expose students to arts enrichment and culture and to promote health awareness and other causes that impact the community.

#CAPâ„
#CAP (College Admissions Process) is our signature youth enrichment program designed to assist high school students as they seek admission to college by providing guidance and support in completing the application and enrollment process using a step-by-step approach. This educational initiative is provided to male and female students in grades 9-12. Students in the #CAP Program also have an opportunity to receive academic enrichment and life skills training to support their journey to college or vocational employment. Students participate in monthly workshops covering topics such as community and culture, education and job skill exploration and national and international affairs. #CAP aims to improve the trajectory of the lives of talented young people by increasing their potential for success and laying the foundation for positive, productive and fulfilling lives.
